I would like to take a few minutes of your time today to introduce you to the I Believe organization,   Our primary goal is to give at risk children an alternative to gangs and other self destructive behaviors by offering them basketball clinics and travel teams that they can participate in.  We teach them the basic basketball techniques and show them that they have the potential to succeed at whatever they put their minds to.  It all starts by Believing!  This is our fifth year offering travel teams.  We started out with one team and traveled to 2 tournaments.  We now have nine teams and we have traveled to places like Philadelphia, Maryland and we plan on traveling farther in the years to come.  We currently have nine teams including 5 boys teams and 4 girls teams.  This year we are going to start offering academic assistance in the form of academic advising, personal counseling, tutoring and academic mentoring.  We are also in the process of partnering and offering college placement services.  This will include assistance in the form of seminars, clinics, player promotion and personal consultation.
