Millicent Kornegay |
Millicent Kornegay aka Coach Kay is a former Fayetteville State University basketball player that has recently started her coaching career 2 years ago. She has assisted with coaching for the Farmville Middle School Girls Basketball team. Coach Kay has facilitated a basketball club at Lakeforest Elementary school and which she taught the fundamentals of basketball to young boys and girls. She is very positive and a great motivator. Coach Kay’s shared talents and experience can help the young ladies to develop into great basketball players but also great young ladies as well. Millicent will utilize this opportunity to give unselfishly of her skills and time to pass to the next generation the same intangible benefits that were afforded to her.

Ja’shyrah Carmon |
Ja’shyrah Carmon is a former Women’s Basketball player for the Farmville Central Women’s Basketball team as known as 2020 State Co-Champions. Throughout the years of her high school career Ja’shyrah has faced adversity, hardship, and yet she chose to fight through it all because she knew that it would pay off some day. Ja’shyrah was also once a college athlete as well but she chose to focus more on her academics rather than her athletic ability. Ja’shyrah also got the idea that she could spread her knowledge to the younger generation. Ja’shyrah decided to teach the younger generation of children today great things that she learned late like how there is more than just being a athlete. Great athletes have positive attitude, character, and perseverance. Throughout the years Ja’shyrah has been more involved with the youth, she has focused on setting great examples for the younger generation. She has volunteered, educated, and coached the youth known as the future generation. She looks forward to inspiring the youth and helping in all ways that she can.

Rumond Pitt

Rumond Pitt is a former University of Mount Olive basketball player that has coached for the last ten plus years. He has coached several high schools girls teams including Farmville Central high school for 4 years and has also worked camps as a college student and other camps and clinics. He has also coached volleyball for several years helping with travel teams, middle school and high school teams. He has worked several pro camps for men and women and he also coaches volleyball and has helped several athletes obtain college scholarships in basketball and volleyball.

Jeff has been coaching with I Believe basketball for the last several years, he has coached, recreation leagues, boys and girls clubs and several high school boys basketball teams in the last few years. He played his college basketball at Louisburg college and also won a state championship with Ayden Grifton high school. |
